We are in the last quarter of 2014. This year has flown by and at times it has felt like the blink of an eye. Each day when we wake up, we are given the gift of another day to make an impact in the lives of others. We also are given an opportunity to be clear about why we are here. Do you know your WHY? Have you spent some time thinking about your purpose and if you are living your life under the guise of your calling? When I was in my late 20’s and early 30’s, I knew once I started working with emotionally disturbed children and adolescents that it was a calling for me. The decisions I made in reference to my life were geared towards helping these folks live an honest and conscious life. There were many days that I questioned my commitment to this endeavor but I knew in my heart that it was what I was called to do. When I decided that it was time to move on, it was because I felt a new tug, a new pull. I was being called to make an impact in a larger way, from an organizational perspective and a coaching perspective. Now I am having an even greater impact as I travel assisting organizations and leaders become the best they can be. My heart is still filled with excitement when folks have that aha moment. I know for sure that I am in my WHY. Spend some time thinking about your purpose and why you are here. Your WHY will drive your life decisions and guide you towards a wholehearted life. Begin.
